Shooting handheld HDRs
I find myself doing handheld HDRs more and more. During the daytime, they’re no problem! I got a pretty steady hand, but the three exposures I do are still not perfectly aligned. However, Photomatix does an excellent job aligning the three source images – and Photoshop will align the three exposures and the tonemapped image perfectly. All that is needed is a little cropping of the edges – which I don’t mind. So, if you’re not carrying a tripod with you at all times: That’s no excuse for not shooting HDRs! Today’s photo is shot handheld, and so is the one I posted yesterday![]()
Being on top of the world
I find this scene quite spectacular. It really feels as if you’re on top of the world, overlooking everything. The view is stunning, and I tried to capture it in today’s photo. Right outside the frame to the right is the Pulpit Rock – and you’ll get to see it tomorrow! It’s an amazing piece of nature’s work, and I hope you’ll enjoy it. Until tomorrow, enjoy the feeling of being on top of the world!
