Tourist in my own country

Australia’s next top journalist

My two Aussie friends and I are back from our road trip! We had a great time, and I enjoyed showing them the magnificent scenery of western Norway. One of the girls visiting me is Sarah Baker – who’s on her way to becoming Australia’s next top journalist. At least that’s my guess! I’m telling her to post more stuff online, and I’ll definitely link to it when she does. In the meantime, enjoy reading this article:

Tourist in my own country

I’ve never been to the Pulpit Rock before, so hiking up there was a lot of fun for me! Doing touristy stuff in my own country is something I rarely do, so I enjoyed it a lot! I think you see things differently when you’re in “tourist mode”, so photography-wise it can be quite rewarding!
We had to drive for several hours to get to the place we were starting our hike from, and today’s photo is from the middle of nowhere. My best guess is that this is from Lauvvik – which you’ve probably never heard of (unless you know your Norwegian geography).
